Equal opportunities and respect for the women from the North-East and Central Regions

Objective:

The project’s main objective is to create new career prospects opportunities in a modern, flexible and inclusive labour market for a target group of 330 women who will participate in training courses. The project will therefore facilitate their access to the employment market, and also develop and promote the principles of gender equality and equal opportunities in the North-East and Central Regions of Romania.

Outcomes:

a) Foster the principle of equal access to the employment market in order to enhance women’s opportunities to get a job
b) Raise awareness of the principles of gender equality and equal opportunities within the community
c) Facilitate equal access to employment and a successful career.

Activities:

- English language courses for 120 women from the North-East and Central Regions of Romania. 
- Italian language courses for 120 women from the North-East and Central Regions of Romania;
- Specialized training - Hotel receptionist training course for 30 women from the North-East and Central Regions of Romania;
- Computer skills courses for 30 women from North-East and Central Romania;
- Training programme for developing women’s communication skills and techniques in order to boost self-esteem and enhance career prospects for 30 women;
- Career advice and counselling all through the project.
